Technical notes
A client component: useState holds the selected check-in day. The price is computed by a deterministic function of the day of the month and the weekday rather than at random — randomness would split the server and the client render. The price stands in the cell rather than opening after a selection: a booking calendar answers the question "when is it cheaper", and the cell is made taller than usual for that. The month's minimum price is computed over the available days and marked with an outline and the label colour, not by colour alone. Sold-out days are switched off with the disabled attribute and struck through, but stay in the grid: a missing day reads as a loading failure. The footer shows the total for the chosen number of nights — multiplying in one's head is unnecessary here.
