FAQ
- How do I add Report Period with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Report Period depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Report Period?
- Adapt: the label and the starting span through defaultUnit and defaultValue; the unit captions through unitText; the hint. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-date-009-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the native week and month inputs: the browser knows week numbering better than a hand-rolled calendar; the caption with exact dates: «week 38» on its own tells a person nothing.
- Is Report Period free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/date-009.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-date-009-* variables. Client component. Week and month use the native week and month inputs — the browser knows ISO week numbering and will not offer a week that does not exist. There is no native quarter input, so that one is a select. The bounds are computed in UTC: local midnight at a month edge easily slips a day. The unit switch sits in its own form, so two blocks on a page do not disturb each other.
