How do I add History Suggest with Cursor or Claude Code?

What does History Suggest depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in History Suggest?
Adapt: the label copy and the history array; the wording of the hint under the field; the filtering rule — prefix matching, for instance. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-input-012-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the forget button on every suggestion: without it history collects junk nothing can remove; the combobox and listbox roles together with aria-expanded: without them the list does not exist for screen readers.
Is History Suggest free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

This command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in local variables --vibeui-input-012-*. A client component: "use client". The field is declared role="combobox" with aria-expanded and aria-controls, and the list is a role="listbox" with buttons role="option". The arrows walk the suggestions, Enter substitutes the active one, and Escape closes the list without erasing what has been typed. The list closes when the focus leaves the wrapper (onBlur with a relatedTarget check). The match is highlighted with the <mark> tag.
