What does Clear Apply depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Clear Apply?
Adapt: the label, placeholder and defaultValue copy; the button captions through clearLabel and applyLabel, the status lines through appliedText and emptyText; the hint text under the group. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-inputgroup-030-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the collapsed borders: neighbours carry a negative margin so the parts share one line instead of two; the separate draft and applied states — the field never substitutes one for the other.
Is Clear Apply free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

This command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-inputgroup-030-* variables. Client-side: "use client" for the sake of the draft and the applied value state. «Clear» zeroes the draft and the applied value at once; «Apply» moves the draft into applied and switches off while the two match — that way it is visible whether what is typed differs from what has actually been accepted.
