What does Scan Device depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Scan Device?
Adapt: the label, placeholder and defaultValue copy; the connected prop — the device's connection status; the simulated scan duration scanDelay. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-inputgroup-032-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; keeping the device status (connected) separate from the action status (scanning) — they are two different things; disabling the Scan button when the device is disconnected or a scan is already running.
Is Scan Device free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-inputgroup-032-* variables. Client-side: "use client" for the sake of the value and the scan status state. The connection indicator is a dot and a text next to the label, independent of the scanning itself. The «Scan» button is unavailable without a connected device; on a click it simulates the capture with a timer (setTimeout, cleared on unmount and on a re-run), locks the field while the scan runs and fills it with a generated code.
