No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.

Adapt: the label, placeholder, applyLabel and validCodes copy; the simulated check duration delay; the status wording in STATUS_TEXT. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-inputgroup-024-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the collapsed borders: neighbours carry a negative margin so the parts share one line instead of two; three separate status colours as distinct CSS variables rather than one accent for every case.
Is Promo Status free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-inputgroup-024-* variables. Client-side: "use client" for the sake of the code and the check status state. The check is simulated by a timer (setTimeout, cleared on unmount and on a re-run), the field is locked while the check runs and stays locked after acceptance, and editing after a rejection resets the status to its initial value. The status is read through role="status" and is distinguished not only by text but also by the border colour and the icon.
