How do I add Search History with Cursor or Claude Code?

What does Search History depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Search History?
Adapt: the label, placeholder and defaultHistory copy; the maxHistory prop — how many queries to keep; the hint text under the group. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-inputgroup-026-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; picking a history item through onMouseDown with preventDefault — otherwise the field's blur closes the panel before the click lands; role="combobox" on the field and role="listbox"/role="option" on the panel and its items.
Is Search History free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-inputgroup-026-* variables. Client-side: "use client" for the sake of the query, the history and the panel's open state. The history panel opens on field focus as a role="listbox" beneath it, and an item is picked through onMouseDown with preventDefault — that way the click is not lost to an earlier blur. Enter moves the current query to the top of the history without duplicates, and Escape closes the panel.
