FAQ

How do I add Reply Templates with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Reply Templates depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Reply Templates?
Adapt: the label, placeholder copy and the templates array; the name prop and defaultValue; the triggerText button wording and the menuLabel list name. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-inputgroup-037-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the collapsed borders between the button and the field: neighbours carry a negative margin, one line between them; role="listbox" and role="option" on the popover — this is a picker, not a command menu.
Is Reply Templates free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

For developers

npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/inputgroup-037.json

This command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-inputgroup-037-* variables. Client-side: "use client" for the sake of the value and the open popover state. The template list is not a select but a popover of its own with role="listbox": an item is not chosen as the field's value but inserted into the field as ready text, leaving room to add words of your own. Closing happens on Escape, on an outside click (through pointerdown on document) and on picking an item; after any close focus returns to the text field.
