FAQ

How do I add Period Range with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Period Range depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Period Range?
Adapt: the periods and their range captions through periods; the initial period through defaultPeriod; the accessible group name through label. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-buttongroup-010-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the equal track columns: otherwise the "index × 100%" offset misses the button; one surface for the whole group — a slide reads as movement, not as four backgrounds blinking.
Is Period Range free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the --vibeui-buttongroup-010-* variables. It is a client component: useState holds the selected period and onChange hands it outwards. The track is a grid of equal columns (repeat(var(--vibeui-buttongroup-010-count),1fr)), and there is a single surface for the whole group: its width equals one column's share and its offset is computed as translateX(index * 100%). Equal columns are mandatory here — with segments of different widths the offset would stop landing on the button. The state is declared through aria-pressed, and the range line is marked aria-live="polite": a view change without words does not tell a blind user that the data is already different. The track is a role="toolbar" with a roving tabindex: Tab enters the group once, and the period is chosen with the arrows.
