FAQ
- How do I add Labeled Quantity Stepper with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Labeled Quantity Stepper depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Labeled Quantity Stepper?
- Adapt: the initial quantity through defaultValue; the bounds through min and max; the unit caption through unit and the accessible name through label. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-buttongroup-044-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the real input between the buttons: without it typing, pasting and the phone numeric keypad are gone; storing a string rather than a number: clamping on every keystroke makes two-digit values impossible.
- Is Labeled Quantity Stepper free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the --vibeui-buttongroup-044-* variables. It is a client component: useState holds the input string rather than a number — otherwise typing "12" into a field with a maximum of 20 would be impossible, as "1" would already hit the minimum. The clamping to the range happens on onBlur and on a button press. The browser's native spinners are removed through appearance:textfield and ::-webkit-inner-spin-button: they duplicate the buttons and at sixteen pixels cannot be hit. The unit of measure stands inside the field as a separate node, so it does not interfere with typing. The focus ring is drawn on the field cell through :has(input:focus-visible), because the input's own outline is removed.
