Button group
Expanding Extras
A cluster that reveals rare actions to the right: details is laid out as a flex row, so the summary stays a cell of the group rather than a block heading.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

FAQ
- How do I add Expanding Extras with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Expanding Extras depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Expanding Extras?
- Adapt: the primary actions through actions; the rare actions through extra; the disclosure caption through moreLabel and the group name through label. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-buttongroup-035-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; display:flex on the details itself: without it the revealed buttons drop below the summary; details/summary instead of hand-rolled disclosure — state and keyboard come from the browser.
- Is Expanding Extras free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the --vibeui-buttongroup-035-* variables. It is a server component: the disclosure is held by details/summary, there is no client JS — the state, the keyboard and the "collapsed/expanded" announcement come from the browser. The technique is display:flex on the details itself: the summary then becomes a cell of the cluster, and the revealed buttons line up to the right of it in a shared row rather than as a block beneath it. The list marker is removed through list-style:none, ::marker and ::-webkit-details-marker. While the details is closed, the rounding of the right edge belongs to the summary; when open, it goes to the last extra button. The arrow rotates by [open].
