Language Rows

A language picker written in autonyms: every row carries its own lang and, where needed, dir="rtl" — otherwise Arabic arrives in the wrong font and inside out.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • the languages, autonyms and rtl flag through languages
  • the initial language through defaultValue
  • the accessible group name through label

FAQ

How do I add Language Rows with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Language Rows depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Language Rows?
Adapt: the languages, autonyms and rtl flag through languages; the initial language through defaultValue; the accessible group name through label. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-buttongroup-021-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the lang attribute on every autonym: without it the browser uses the current page's font; dir="rtl" on right-to-left languages — otherwise the line arrives inside out.
Is Language Rows free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

For developers

npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/buttongroup-021.json

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the --vibeui-buttongroup-021-* variables. It is a server component: the choice is held by radios inside a fieldset. Every row carries a lang attribute, and for right-to-left writing a dir="rtl": without them the browser substitutes the font and the direction of the current page. The list is vertical because autonyms differ in length and do not fit into equal columns; the borders are collapsed vertically through margin-block-start:-1px, and the rounded corners go through logical properties to the first and last row. The selection mark is a tick on opacity rather than a fill alone: a language is also chosen by people who cannot read the current interface language. The focused row is raised to z-index:2.
