FAQ

How do I add Yes No Toggle with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Yes No Toggle depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Yes No Toggle?
Adapt: the question text through question; the answer captions through yesLabel and noLabel; the hints below the group through yesHint and noHint. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-buttongroup-017-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; radios instead of a switch: in a survey both answers are equal and must stay visible; the surface driven by :has on the track — the state and the look then cannot drift apart.
Is Yes No Toggle free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the --vibeui-buttongroup-017-* variables. It is a server component: the surface moves without JS — the [data-part="track"]:has([data-part="option"]:nth-of-type(2) input:checked) rule shifts the single thumb by 100% and changes its colour to the "no" one. The explanation under the group is switched by CSS as well: both texts lie in the markup, and the one whose radio is checked is shown. Radios are deliberately used here instead of a switch: a switch is honest when "off" means the absence of an action, whereas in a survey both answers are equal and must be visible in full. The legend is styled as a visible heading with float:left;width:100%;clear:both — without the clear the following flex children would wrap around it.
