Dated Presets
Period presets with concrete dates under each name: "the last 7 days" and "6–12 May" answer different questions, and the second line removes the trip to a calendar.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the presets and their ranges through periods
- the custom period caption through customLabel
- the initial preset through defaultValue and the group name through label

FAQ
- How do I add Dated Presets with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Dated Presets depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Dated Presets?
- Adapt: the presets and their ranges through periods; the custom period caption through customLabel; the initial preset through defaultValue and the group name through label. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-buttongroup-046-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the second line with dates: without it the user goes to a calendar to check; the equal track columns: otherwise the range lines never form one baseline.
- Is Dated Presets free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the --vibeui-buttongroup-046-* variables. It is a server component: the choice is held by radios inside a fieldset. The track is a grid with grid-auto-columns:1fr, so the range lines form one common baseline and the segments stay targets of the same size. The dates are set in tabular figures and do not wrap. The last segment is "Custom range": it has no range, and in its place stands a calendar glyph rather than an empty line, otherwise the height of that segment would differ from its neighbours. The borders are collapsed through margin-inline-start:-1px, the rounded corners go to the edge ones only, the selected segment is raised to z-index:1 and the focused one to z-index:2.
