Card Header Group
An action group in a card header that folds by the card's own width: the threshold comes from a container query, not from the viewport.

FAQ
- How do I add Card Header Group with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Card Header Group depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Card Header Group?
- Adapt: the heading through title and the second line through subtitle; the set of secondary actions through actions; the primary action caption through primary and the group name through label. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-buttongroup-034-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the layout on the inner shell: a rule inside @container does not apply to the container itself; the container query instead of a media query — a card in a narrow column of a wide screen must fold like it does on a phone.
- Is Card Header Group free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the --vibeui-buttongroup-034-* variables. It is a server component: there are no hooks. The root is declared container-type:inline-size, while the layout lives on the inner [data-part="shell"] — a rule inside @container applies to the container's descendants but not to the container itself, and that is a trap rather than a detail. By default the layout is the narrow one: the header in a column, the buttons at full width; @container (min-width: 30rem) turns it into a row. The buttons are chained with margin-inline-start:-1px, the rounded corners go to the edge ones only, and the primary one is set apart by a fill and stands last. The card carries a light surface of its own, so it reads on a dark showcase background too.
